Responsible for the overall support of CBRE client's real estate outsourcing contract with a NYC based client. Conducts and documents complex financial and operational analyses and ad hoc projects, including review and investigation of financial data and results, as well as key operational metrics. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients working within a matrix reporting environment: Dedicated Account Team, Divisional Finance, Corporate and Client Accounting, and the Client on all aspects of accounting, finance and reporting. Involved in other special projects as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the Alliance Director, Finance Director and divisional, operational field teams in a variety of areas of financial analysis including but not limited to:
Experience with working with and manipulating large data sets - ability to scrub, synthesize and summarize into decision making outputs. Ability to decipher complex situations and generated key takeaways and conclusions for presentation to others.
Review and understand all financial terms of the CBRE client contract with an ability to ensure both client and CBRE are complying with financial terms such as fees, billbacks, etc.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Compile, decipher, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report variance activity in verbal and written communications.
Review, perform, and coordinate financial analysis across different departments, divisions or business segments including monthly management reporting, variance analyses, account reconciliations, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, AR analyses, TWC (trade working capital) analyses, etc.
Constant drive towards process improvements and gains in efficiency by brainstorming new, automated ways of accomplishing tasks (excel, web-based, etc).
A thirst to understand processes and data and what they mean, rather than just following a checklist of steps and delivering the output for someone else to review
Responsible for creation of CBRE invoicing to client and billing in accordance with client spend allocation methodologies as well as ensuring all billbacks are recorded correctly by CBRE Dallas accounting shop
Responsible for review of monthly close P&L including appropriate submission of PO accruals to CBRE Dallas accounting shop; review for reasonableness
Ability to quickly escalate potential issues to Sr. Directors such as Alliance Director, Finance Director and/or Division Director
Ad hoc duties/tasks as assigned by Finance Director or Alliance Director
Other AP related duties may be assigned such as :
Minimal invoice processing
Monthly Pre-funding Request Review; Commodity Code/Op Code Changes, and responding to client questions
Vendor management including invoice reconciliations
PO creation and PO management

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Economics from four-year college or university and a minimum of two to five years of related experience and/or training.
Technology : Use of Microsoft Office:
Advanced experience in Excel: Ability to calculate results using pivots, formulas: (sumifs, lookups, etc) filtering, sorting, named ranges, graphing, formatting;
Moderate experience in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, (Access a plus)
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Tableau, ThinkCell, MyBuy or Cognos a plus but not required
Analytics : Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills that go beyond just working with numbers - ability to know how to problem solve, review data output for reasonableness and search for errors, suggest solutions and how to communicate and interpret the data in a high-level manner to client and CBRE Leadership audiences.

Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful but not required. Strong work ethic .
