The Executive Director position will provide leadership to overall client operations, programs and services for Michigan healthcare association. This association will join Ngage Management as a client on December 1, 2019. Candidates must have executive level experience related to health care and nurse practitioners or 10 years of experience in association management. Direct healthcare or nurse practitioner experience is not required, though general knowledge of the industry would be highly advantageous. The right candidate will have a proven record in building strategic, advocacy and outreach efforts on behalf of an organization or association, a creative and innovative approach to marketing and branding, and a comfort level in being the face of the association.
The candidate should demonstrate an ability to positively raise the profile of the association and support the best interests of members. Experience working with stakeholders to build new business relationships, collaborative partnerships and expanded membership is highly desired.

Demonstration of continuing professional education, accreditation in a professional field and/or board leadership at a local, state or national professional or trade association would be highly desirable (a CAE designation is highly valued)
A minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership and association management
Some limited travel, including overnight stays, may be required
