Responsible for managing the Cooperative’s Member Services program including communications, education, energy efficiency, and other services for Cooperative members and employees.
Oversees and ensures professional representation of the cooperative in providing service through member contacts, communications and ongoing relationship building.
Together with Member Services staff, works to listen and respond to member needs, keeps up on industry trends, directs market research and recommends the development of member initiatives, communications and service offerings.
Manages Member Services staff, coaching, developing, and hiring employees. Communicates job expectations, sets goals and appraises performance.
Develops an annual budget and department work plan based on the cooperative’s strategic goals. Manages expenditures, projects and initiatives, analyzing expense variances and initiating corrective action as needed.
Prepare and make reports to the Board of Directors as required in areas of responsibility.
Manage Communications, energy programs, and member services departments.
Direct all approved department activities and programs to obtain maximum productivity and effectiveness in the pursuit of strategic and business operational goals.
Manages coordination of a successful annual meeting and other public relations and cooperative-sponsored events
Oversee the Cooperative’s strategic mission, vision and objectives, as it relates to Member Services.
Establish or recommend to the CEO, department strategies, objectives, tariff, policies and procedures for the Cooperative.
Five years of work-related experience in office management and working with the public
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred
Experience supervising, coaching and developing employees
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
