Responsible for the financial support of CBRE client's real estate outsourcing contract, sitting onsite at one of CBRE's prestigious technology clients supporting this Americas client contract. Conducts and documents financial and operational analyses and ad hoc projects, including review and investigation of financial data and results, as well as key operational metrics. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients, working within a matrix reporting environment - Dedicated Account Team, and Corporate and Client Accounting. Support the Client on all aspects of accounting, finance, analysis, reporting and special projects as required. Leverage related accounting, finance and operations technology platforms to deliver business intelligence, reporting and analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports Finance Director, Alliance Director, and Divisional and Operational field teams in a variety of areas of accounting, financial reporting and analyses:
Ability to structure and manipulate large data sets - scrub, synthesize and summarize into decision making outputs.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Compile, decipher, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications.
Review, perform, and coordinate accounting and financial analysis across different departments, different locations, regions, sites or business segments including monthly management reporting, variance analyses, account reconciliations, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting.
A drive to understand processes, data and interpret their meaning, rather than just following a manual checklist of steps and delivery of output.
Support the client billing, vendor invoicing and cost allocations processes associated with the real estate portfolio and completing AP upload requirements.
Vendor management including purchase order & invoice management, reconciliations, payment, and contractual financial compliance
Perform and/or support monthly accrual process and other monthly related tasks.
Ad hoc client and/or other team requests. Proactive response to client inquiries.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university, and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or related training.
Technology: Microsoft Office as a primary technology tool:
Advanced experience in Excel: Ability to calculate results using pivots, sum ifs, lookups, filtering, sorting, named ranges, graphing, formatting;
Moderate experience in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Additional experience in Peoplesoft, Tableau, Oracle, JD Edwards, Cognos or Hyperion is preferred but not required
Analytics: Requires analytical and quantitative skills to manipulate numbers, with ability to problem solve; evaluate data output, quality, and error recognition; suggest solutions and evaluate your audience to communicate the data to non- Finance, Operations and Business Leadership audiences.
Quality, accuracy and timeliness: Must have a detailed approach & orientation - accuracy, quality and meeting deadlines is a requirement.
