Episcopal High School in Houston seeks a dynamic college counselor or college-admissions officer (with experience preferably) to join its comprehensive college counseling program—one capstone of the School’s strong academic, college-preparatory mission.
Reporting to the Director of College Counseling in this 12-month position, the College Counselor works collaboratively with the other college counselors in guiding students and their parents through all aspects of the college search and admissions process along with laying the foundation for academic success.
Candidates must possess excellent organization, time-management, and communication skills—be a solid writer, a compelling speaker, and a thoughtful listener. Empathy, energy, flexibility, maturity, optimism, and a strong work ethic will be highly valued, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment that encourages collegiality and creativity. The College Counselor will also assist in maintaining and promoting the School’s positive relations with a wide range of colleges.
