We’re looking for a Director of Sales who believes in our vision and has the skills and experience to fulfill our B2B sales potential.
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will manage and grow our B2B sales through both key accounts and channel partners. Though your remit will be global, this is a home based role with specific emphasis on the US market. You will have the support of the wider organisation and will work closely with especially operations, finance and marketing.
Develop and execute B2B sales strategy and plan. You know how to analyze the market and develop a winning strategy
Tactical execution. You have extensive tactical experience and a solid network in the US outdoor retail space and
Grow direct B2B sales channel. You know how to operate as both a “hunter” to forge new relationships as well as a “farmer” to nurture and grow existing key relationships
Recruit and grow global channel partnerships. Our vision is so much more than just our own “backyard”. You have experience in growing channel partnerships and know how to make them successful
Maintain the CRM. You’re meticulous and detail oriented when it comes to capturing and using your sales data, both in terms of outbound campaigns as well as informing your sales forecasting
Build for scalability. You know what it takes to be the “first one on the ground” and can build scalable processes that will allow you to be successful once you can add members to your team
External representation. You’re seasoned when it comes to planning and executing trade show exhibitions and you know how to utilise your network to make them successful
Skills and Experience:
At least 5 years of outdoor industry experience is a must have
Demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communicator with a high level of empathy and integrity
Ambitious, driven and self motivated with a high level of energy
Able to demonstrate strategic thinking and high impact prioritization
Retail experience is a plus
Telecommuting is allowed.
