Harvard Business School (HBS) is now accepting applicants for the role of Director, Social Enterprise Initiative. The Social Enterprise Initiative (SEI) aims to educate, support, and inspire leaders across all sectors—private, public, and nonprofit—to solve society's toughest challenges and make a difference in the world. HBS pioneered the concept of “social enterprise” more than 25 years ago with the founding of its Social Enterprise Initiative. Today, SEI applies innovative business practices and managerial disciplines to drive high-impact social change through its key constituencies—faculty, MBA and Executive Education students, alumni, and leaders in the field. SEI is a focal point for the creativity and energy of its worldwide community at all stages of their careers. For more information, visit: http://www.hbs.edu/socialenterprise.
The Social Enterprise Initiative is part of the Initiatives department and the Director reports into the Managing Director, Initiatives. HBS Initiatives focus on making a difference at the intersection of business and society by assembling the strengths of the School around topics that are too complex for any one discipline or sector to solve alone.
