Who we are looking for:
Within the State Street Bank International GmbH, Luxembourg Branch in the "Client Delivery Management" division, a motivated team awaits you in the SCD Tax & Financial Reporting department, which prepares a wide range of tax and regulatory reports and evaluations for our German client. You will have client exposure and will need to collaborate with our client, internal and external consultants and colleagues from the Client Delivery Management team (also in Germany) as well as from other servicing departments. The role requires energy flexibility curiosity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We want you to develop a deep understanding of fund tax figures and financial reporting to deliver optimal support to our clients.

What you will be responsible for: As Tax and Financial Reporting Specialist Associate-1, you will:
completeness of fund list (new funds, liquidated funds, name changes, FYE changes etc)
ensure that distributions after FYE of funds are calculated & information are distributed in a timely manner
calculate liquidation / fusion of funds
WM Stammdaten: first time notification, change of data, track publications and check of completeness & correctness
get data from SCD via applications or SCD itself
proofreading of (half) year end reporting - publication
set-up of dividend evaluation or WHT reclaim per country / year with regard of specific client requirements
communication to FA with information considering WHT reclaims paid to fund
overall process oversight / completeness of funds with FYE / event (distr., fusion, liquidations, interim distribution)
solve client inquiries (regarding past and future distributions (e.g. Forecast of distributions, tax-related questions); WM Stammdaten etc)
correction of past tax figure publications (§ 5) with regard to Fokusbank - WHT reclaims (calculation - overview - publication of revised amount)
communication of results of WHT reclaim evaluation with client
overview of WHT reclaims (filing reclaims, data collection, communication with client, tax offices, third parties involved in process)
develop and maintain procedures
analysing and evaluate projects for future tasks (for team) - coordinate with internal and external clients
knowledge of actual tax regime in order to give feedback on questions
Ability to multitask, ensure accuracy and execute against pre-determined deadlines
Accountable for quality and accuracy of results
Act in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundation
Support the client service experience for internal clients in coordination with A2 or above
analytical mind-set in order to handle large data / organizational skills
deep knowledge of actual and past tax regime in order to give qualified feedback on questions / solve inquiries
Collaborate with internal and external groups (clients, auditor) to identify, analyze and resolve issues
Maintain working knowledge of processing activities (strong knowledge of overall Process Operating Model)
Handle complex issues and escalate as needed acting with a sense of urgency
How to prioritize tasks, solve inquiry, who to engage from other teams / client
Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and draw awareness to colleagues regarding sensitive matters
Perform related duties as assigned
WHT reclaim knowledge (filing requirements per country, involved parties, changing requirements) + overview of all open cases
responsible for internal and external audit / expertise in understanding whole process / decision model
Collaborate for results and problem solvings
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal & external clients and colleagues
Communicate professionally and timely while utilizing proper method of communication with business units and clients
Share responsibility with lead, manager and staff for accurate and timely responses to internal and external clients and for resolving queries
