Reporting to, and partnering with, the CEO, the Development Manager is charged with strengthening the development function of this vibrant, emerging not-for-profit organization. In this new, full-time, salaried position, he/she will successfully develop and execute fundraising efforts resulting increased philanthropic support and diversification of sources of support. In keeping with Bounce’s donor-focused fundraising culture, emphasis will be placed on donor experience to engage/maximize support from existing donors as well as expanding the donor base.
Achieve quantitative and qualitative goals through design, development, execution, evaluation, prioritization, and continual improvement of fundraising activities
Oversee fundamental systems & infrastructure for a best practices fundraising operation
Develop & maintain a comprehensive development calendar
Assure compliance with generally accepted fund-raising principles, financial reporting requirements and ethical codes of professional conduct
Stay abreast of fundraising best practices

Plan and execute annual giving strategies and campaigns that grow revenue, expand outreach to acquire new donors, retain existing donors, grow average gift size, and identify next generation of donors with major gift potential
Support the Executive Director in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship major gifts
Corporate & Foundation Relations:
Oversee grant management processes, supporting the funding life cycle of researching, applying, reporting, cultivating relationships, and stewarding partnerships
Compile requisite materials and data for grant/gift/sponsorship proposals and final reports
Donor Communications and Stewardship:
Manage and enhance a ‘best practices’ donor stewardship/recognition program, including acknowledgements, communications, and donor appreciation activities/events
Special Events & Targeted Campaigns:
Support planning and execution of special events organized by volunteers and staff, with focus on donor/sponsor experience, solicitation and stewardship
Support special campaigns as needed
Ensure accurate & up-to-date donor and prospect records are maintained in Salesforce
Enhance fundraising reports & ensure records are reconciled with accounting records
Conduct research to identify and analyze new leads to diversify funding sources
BA degree (or equivalent)

Valid Driver’s License. Ability to travel locally.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
Previous work experience in non-profit fundraising
Experience with databases, ideally a CRM
Proficient in using digital/social media and monitoring and management tools
Graphic design experience, preferably Adobe Creative Suite
