Primary duty will be to provide Technical and Engineering support for Senior category manager, Fuel Systems but not limited to, the items listed below:
Category management / Engineering:
New Product Development - Work with Senior CM, Suppliers, and purchasing to manage Technical aspects and timeline for New product completion.
Manage /coordinate all aspects of new product development from CM’s decision to add; until production sample is approved.
Supplier’s contact for technical questions and requirements during development.
Create and Maintain Technical drawings (CAD and Specifications) - Complete and maintain technical drawing library, per ANSI requirements, for new product approvals, design changes, special projects and associated documentation, etc.
Market research and intelligence – Assist Sales and Senior CM by collecting market, trend, interchange, competitive information from all available resources.
Data analysis – Aid Senior CM with timely analyses of large data files (all lines)
Program management – Assist Sales and Senior CM with overseeing key program requirements for new customers and programs. (catalog, packaging, labels, shipping, etc.)
Communications – Assist senior product manager with the presentation of appropriate goals and outcomes to various company and customer groups including creation and distribution of new product releases and technical communications.
Videos and Marketing - Provide assistance to Sales and Marketing Department with current projects to create Assembly drawings and knowledge video series for FP and other product lines.
Failure analysis – Perform full failure analysis on returned and rejected items and provide written reports to our customers and suppliers. This includes technical / engineering advice on the most effective corrective actions.
Corrective action – Create and implement corrective actions via ISO requirements to improve product and Processes
ISO Audits – Perform regularly scheduled ISO audits to meet annual certification requirements
Kaizen events – Create and/or attend Kaizen events to improve product and processes
NCMR – Assist CM, QA and Supply Chain in the review and resolution of Fuel System NCMR’s
This is a fast-paced, office based position. It is a work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires the ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.

2+ years’ Automotive engineering experience.
2+ years’ CAD experience
2+ years’ Manufacturing experience
Strong analytical and organizational skills to drive multiple projects
Superior communication skills including the ability to comfortably present to large and small groups
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team; work effectively with different personality types
Ability to work independently under pressure and take direction from more than one person
Proficient in Solidworks or similar CAD software.
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standards, implementation, Auditing.
High energy, enthusiasm, self-motivation and ambition to grow in the role
Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems
Ability to travel overnight occasionally
Moderate lifting, up to 25 pounds
