The successful candidate will act as the representative of the Operations Transaction Reporting function on the bank's internal projects to deliver a new EMIR reporting solution for its LME business and a new reporting solution for the Securities Financing Transaction Reporting (SFTR) regulation within the defined project deadline.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with both the BAU reporting function and the respective project teams and as such must be an excellent communicator to transcend Technology, Operations, Compliance and Front Office departments to deliver a quality end to end solution.
The role will require a self-motivated individual who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the function and be capable of quickly developing a strong partnership with our internal and external stakeholders
Contribution to and review of Business Requirements documentation
Contribution to and review of Functional Requirements documentation
Assistance in vendor selection (reporting service and repository)
Feedback on Technical Specifications to ensure alignment to requirements
Define approach and contribute to the execution of Business Testing
Delivering BAU Integration including training, documentation of procedures and incorporation into existing governance forums
Management Information (MI)
Experience required to successfully perform the role:
Experience within an Operations function
Experience in regulatory trade or transaction reporting in EMIR and preferably at least one other jurisdiction/regime
Demonstrable experience in implementing and improving policies and procedures within an Operations environment
Good understanding of transaction reporting principles and processes
Good understanding of operational risk management techniques
Professional qualification (e.g. IOC) an advantage
