My client is a leading and highly-respected platform in the infrastructure private equity space. Over 100 people strong, the company is a long-term investor in brownfield infrastructure initiatives and is committed to ESG principles in the delivery of value creation. The firm targets €250-750m investment opportunities in the UK, Europe and North America, in companies that provide key services and offer significant growth potential.
Having recently closed a new €6+bn fund the firm are seeking to hire a number of associates. Associates play a varied role within the business which combines:
transaction execution (valuations, business modelling, risk analyses)
active management of portfolio companies (including identification of further investment opportunities)
the design and execution of due diligence workstreams - commercial, financial, technical, tax and legal
the preparation of presentations for the Investment Committee
the support of debt and equity funding.
Successful candidates will typically need:
a strong academic record
2-5 years' experience within either an Investment Banking M&A advisory team or private equity firm
a focus on one or more of the following sectors - infrastructure, energy, power/utilities, TMT, industrials
fluency in English in addition to European language skills - German, Italian and Spanish being of particular interest.
