Wells Fargo Commercial Capital is a market‑leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help Wells Fargo customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their life cycle. About the Role
Internally known as Operations Analyst 1, this position is responsible in providing front-office portfolio management support related to annual reviews, credit memo preparation, financial analysis, trend analysis, report creation and maintenance, system of record updates, regulatory compliance, and ad-hoc projects.
Monitor accounts and investment performance, including financial statement spreading, financial analysis, trend analysis, and document requirements tracking
Prepare annual reviews, valuations and credit write-ups
Update databases, system of records and worksheets and find ways to improve systems/worksheets to provide additional efficiency
Review and validate monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance requirements
Assist with compliance-related tasks and be up-to-date on new compliance requirements
Research and compile industry reports (public company comps, cost of fund updates) and distribute to stakeholders
Work on assigned projects as required
Market Skills and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Amenable to work in US hours (night shift)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytic skills
Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS office applications
Knowledge of financial statements and financial trend analysis, including working knowledge on GAAP Accounting
Highly motivated individual who is able to work well independently and in a team environment
Ability to recognize and escalate issues to management for any process breaches
Ability to multitask to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Ability to work quickly & accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
Flexibility to stretch to accomplish projects timely
