While maintaining expert knowledge of software functionality, the Sr. Enterprise Application Analyst works with staff across the organization to design and support systems in alignment with the NCEMC’s mission and strategic initiatives. They will lead analysis, build/configuration, testing, validation, problem resolution and ongoing support of business applications (SharePoint, Salesforce, HCM system, etc.).
Academic and Trade Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or a related field from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent experience
Seven years of demonstrated work experience with a minimum of five years of experience supporting enterprise applications. Previous experience in the power/energy industry is strongly preferred.
Responsible for leading projects and business process design/ redesign with business and technology subject matter experts to understand business requirements, work through issues, communicate solution options, and jointly formulate technology solutions.
Create technical requirement documentation for various business applications as well as work closely with developers, architects and infrastructure teams to build sound solutions.
Provide input to strategies and standards to improve enterprise systems and application capacity, performance, utilization, effectiveness and efficiency, and system availability.
Plan, manage and implement new enterprise software solutions and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to aid in the selection and the implementation of the right technology stack to align with the use cases, capabilities and scalability.
Coordinate work on resolution of incidents, requests or changes related to the relevant application(s) and support development as applicable.
Serve as subject matter expert on assigned projects, production support areas, and mentor team members.
Identifies issues and leads resolution efforts. Escalates issues appropriately.
Develops and assists in the presentation of business cases and system roadmaps
Proactively identifies and assists in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and system processes
Design, develop, test, and deploy data collection and reporting solutions, including the capabilities of SharePoint and the Microsoft Office 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)
Implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out-of-the-box functionality
In collaboration with the IT Ops team, design, configures/customizes Microsoft and other application platforms based on NCEMC strategic direction.
Serve as Salesforce administrator, performing tasks that include the creation and maintenance of workflows, validation rules, process builder rules, custom fields, reports, dashboard development, and data flow management
Knowledge of energy management systems and emerging technologies strongly preferred
Knowledge of and experience implementing and supporting third party enterprise class application software systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Office 365 Power Platform

Relationships and Contacts
Work with technical team members to ensure solutions are consistent with development, infrastructure and security guidelines. Collaborate with peers across business lines identifying and documenting user needs and requirements. Keep management informed as to status of projects and activities.
Normal business hours, with limited overtime. Travel is limited and normally contained within the state. Position may require the lifting and moving boxes with weights in the 25 pound range.
