Market Job Description
The Business Services team across locations provides processing and voice support and to enable a follow-the-sun delivery model for Wells Fargo that would help us service our customers faster. Business Services teams perform bank operation processes across divisions of WF Home Lending, Wholesale Ops, Wealth & Investment Management (WIM), PVSI & Community banking.
This particular opportunity is in FCM department under Business Services. FCM - Futures Commission Merchant offers execution and clearing of futures and options, and clearing of over-the-counter derivatives to institutional customers globally, with an initial focus on a broad array of existing Wells Fargo clients including financial institutions, energy and agricultural companies, manufacturers and other corporations and commodity trading advisors. FCM Operations performs clearing, collateral and client services for listed futures, options and cleared derivatives. These services are provided to external clients, as well as internal desks including Equity, Commodity, Fixed Income and Rates Trading, for Wells Fargo Securities, LLC the firm's Futures Commission Merchant, Wells Fargo Bank, NA and Wells Fargo Commodities, LLC.
About the Role
One of the primary roles of FCM Operations is to liaise with exchanges, clients, and other FCMs to ensure trades are booked and cleared accurately, perform trade reconciliations and all requisite regulatory reporting, and to provide market, credit and perform GL&SL. The role is expected to lead a team who performs a variety of operational tasks for highly complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require expert knowledge of FCM Trade management, Clearing Ops and Brokerage functions (Atlantis /GPS) and systems
Manage people and partners, act as liaison to other internal departments, including technology groups, external Brokers and Vendors, and provides department level reporting using multiple sources.
Identify opportunities to improve the process through partnership with other teams
Technology Work closely with BMS Technology team
Build platform knowledge in your team through ongoing training.
Develop and maintain MIS on end to end process for tracking turnaround times of deliverables from team and other processing areas
Handle critical production or escalation issues
