MercyOne is seeking a CRM Marketing expert to join our team to advance our Mission of transforming the health of our communities. As CRM Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of direct marketing programs to promote service and organizational presence and increase revenue or targeted response consistent with organizational objectives. You will work with a passionate team of marketing communications colleagues, senior leaders and doctors to drive appointments and engage patients. You will manage all aspects of direct marketing programs across the enterprise, including direct mail, email, and SMS. Serves as a database marketing expert supporting segmentation, offer/message development, campaign/creative development, and consumer targeting, testing, tracking and reporting.
The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, dives deep into details and is energized by juggling priorities. The successful candidate for this position is also composed in fast-moving situations, embraces ambiguity and changing tides, ramps quickly on complex issues, and anticipates questions/reactions. Lastly, the right candidate should be self-motivated. This position can be based anywhere in Iowa with limited travel required.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective and measurable enterprise-wide email and CRM-based digital marketing campaign plans that drive patient acquisition and retention.
Manage and implement all aspects of email marketing while partnering with regions to create email marketing campaigns including strategy development, content and copy, deployment, and measurement and optimization.
Demonstrate accountability for email marketing platform upkeep, platform administration, improvements and technical projects.
Collaborate with regions and manage digital campaigns within CRM to ensure appropriate goals, channels, metrics, allocated budget and reporting are tracked and documented.
Utilize analytics to monitor, adjust and report on campaign performance
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to email and digital marketing platforms both internal and vendor provided.
Work with other marketing managers to ensure cross-channel campaign consistency of strategy and message.
Stay abreast of trends and best practices to maximize email marketing and other digital campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee compliance with email and digital marketing regulations and policies including those specific to health care.
Document key requirements, decisions, best practices and creates playbooks to onboard, coach, and train colleagues across the enterprise.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications or related field, with five (5) to seven (7) years work experience in marketing campaign, brand, or communications development or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Proven marketer who is well-versed in the marketing campaign process – from research to positioning to marketing channel selection and creative development.
Strong aptitude in marketing key performance indicators, analytics, and measurement techniques.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM systems (Evariant/Salesforce/Tea Leaves) Google Tag Manager, Google Adwords and Google Analytics is preferred.
Experience with executing digital marketing campaigns that include various media channels such as search, social media, display, programmatic.
Organized, reliable, and independent with strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong writing, presentation, editing and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to provide leadership and counsel to other Marketing leaders throughout the Ministry.
Ability to influence and manage change in a positive and collaborative manner.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
