This internship position – which is part of the Verizon Campus Program – will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm while learning from the best minds in the industry. You’ll be front and center, hands-on, and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects within the Global Technology Solutions Organization that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.
As a Wireless Planning & Analytics intern, you may have the opportunity to:
Review Data of 2022 budget submission.
Work on FCC license status review.
Review capacity audit of submarket completed solutions.
Assist with information and analysis to help the organization make informed decisions.
Use data to perform analysis using analytical tools such as Tableau.
Initiate network transport needed to support customer wavelength requirements.
Support network build(s) and capacity management to ensure sufficient LD transport is available to support customer demand at all times.
Become familiar with the various LD transport equipment deployed in our network.
Gain exposure and understanding of our LD ULH transport network as well as our OTN mesh network.
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and in good academic standing to be considered.

You’ll need to have:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related major with an expected completion date between December 2021 and June 2024.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to work in Plano, TX
Even better if you have:
Knowledge of Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint is encouraged.
Strong communication skills both written and orally, mathematical skills.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data analysis.
Experience with Agile methodology, Tableau and/or related skills.
