We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Controls and Compliance Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
As a Financial Controls and Compliance Manager, you will have responsibility for the adequacy of the Company's control environment. This includes leading activities to ensure the framework is designed appropriately, is operating effectively and any gaps are remediated timely. This role will interact heavily with all levels of the organization, including Management, Operations and Internal Audit.
You will have the opportunity to:
Understand and oversee the proper documentation of all key business processes impacting financial reporting and the related risks and controls
Assist with maintaining COSO Framework Structure, including annual documentation refresh and design evaluation
Proactively communicate and collaborate with field operations to ensure consistency of controls and best practices for accounting operations
Partner with Internal Audit in supporting the design, documentation and reporting of effective internal controls over financial reporting within the entire organization
In this exciting role, you will also have responsibility working with business owners to manage the company's SAP user access provisioning with a focus on addressing segregation of duties conflicts

We need you to have:
Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting or a related field
Minimum 5 years with at least 3 with a Big 4 public accounting firm
Experience in operational internal/external audit, controls assessment, SOX 404 evaluation and testing
Experienced management accountant with the ability to develop, implement and enforce standard management accounting principles
Icing on the cake:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience in a publicly traded organization
