Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Support
Develop an understanding of alternative investment products, and the investor universe within the industry
Use knowledge gained from the above to interpret investor and fundraising performance research/data to provide meaningful commentary and analysis
Assist in preparation of powerpoint presentations/materials to summarise thoughts/findings of the Marketing Strategy function; related to:
New Products
Strategic Initiatives
Fundraising Updates to Management
Investor Profiling
Market Research
Pull reports and data from the relationship to support Marketing Strategy activities
Coordinate the information gathering process when assessing investor demand for:
New funds
Investment Opportunities
Ad-hoc fundraising requests from broader PFG/business groups
Research
Keep up to date with key industry publications
Identify trends and themes which might be relevant to Brookfield's investors or products
Use Preqin to identify potential investor demand for new products
Distribution Support
Responsible for management of Brookfield's client relationship management system
Ensure all investor meetings/calls are logged in the relationship management system
Manage EMEA marketing lists, and liaise with relationship managers for investor updates to log in the relationship management system accordingly
Prepare preliminary meeting reports for relationship managers to distribute to investment team members ahead meetings/calls with clients and prospects
Technical Skills
Minimum of 2 years of financial services / asset management experience
Exposure to alternatives is preferred but not required
An organized and effective personal and professional style, with well-developed communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Demonstrated drive, self-motivation, determination and energy
A strong team orientation
Solid analytical and quantitative skills, and strong commercial acumen
Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and work with professionals around the organisation
Experience using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
Experienced in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
Undergraduate degree, minimum 2:1 or equivalent
