Position portfolios, macro-economic commentary, as necessary with consultants, clients and prospects; be able to communicate not only the record, but also the investment philosophy. Clearly articulate investment strategies and discuss specific holdings.
Custodian of all investment related content. Responsible for creation and periodic revision of all marketing materials like pitch books, factsheets, RFPs and DDQs.
Responsible for providing ongoing support for investment products from a technical, client servicing, and sales perspective.
Ability to engage clients and discuss all investment strategies across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives. Participate in new business presentations with consultants and clients.
Support the sales team with their requests for Information / Data.
When required, support the firm's institutional marketing and client service teams in face-to-face meetings with clients, prospects and consultants; act as the "proxy portfolio manager" for the assigned investment team.
Drive knowledge and education of internal marketing and client service teams through product training.
Provide regular investment updates (quarterly, annually) to distribution groups on performance attribution, significant transactions, and investment outlook.
Business Strategist :
Keep track of Sales numbers of all teams and generate Business MIS regularly
Monitor competitor activity and keep sales team abreast of competitors' products, performance and client/intermediary requirements.
Project Manager for internal projects and new initiatives like managing platforms like Mercers, Morningstar etc.
Coordinate with other stakeholders – Product, Ops, Legal, Investment and Marketing to support the queries/requirements of the Sales Team.
