What you’ll be doing... You will be working with a team to Design, Implement and evolve the new Next Best Action reporting framework for the Consumer organization. You will drive and execute analyses, spanning several concurrent projects, and create documents and presentations for senior executives. The work you’ll do every day will involve partnerships with the Insights & Analytics, Finance, and Customer Experience and Channel teams. Your role will support Verizon as it continuously improves the experience it provides to its customers. - Creating the framework to guide the measurement and calibration of all Next Best Action propositions.
- Partnering with Commercial Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Customer Experience teams in identifying and operationalizing a common measurement framework.
- Aggregating of disparate reporting sources (SOI, Pega, Excel, Finance models etc.) into a coherent, consistent framework to provide a holistic Next Best Action reporting.
- Owning to aggregate reporting detail (within the framework designed).
- Operating at the "speed of the business" (rapidly evolving org) in optimizing reporting design, engagement processes and reporting models.
- Leading stakeholder engagement with reporting peer(s) in Customer Experience, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to ensure ongoing alignment in approach, measurement and readout strategy.
- Owning the reporting aspect for Next Best Action governance updates - at all levels (working level, Director, VP, SVP). This will involve delivering updates to these audiences and surfacing and summarizing insights at levels appropriate to and customized for, audience.
- Managing relationships with different business stakeholders. Liaise with different teams across Verizon Consumer Group to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.

You’ll need to have: - Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have: - Bachelor’s degree specifically in: Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Data Science or other analytical practice.
- Previous experience in a Business Intelligence/Reporting/Analytics role.
- Knowledge of and comfort with analytics & reporting tools (SQL, tableau, advanced Excel etc.)
- Project Management skills.
- Proven leadership in defining business-critical reporting models, metrics and analyses that drives the business forward.
- Ability to translate detailed, broad reporting data sets into highly summarized and impactful stories that guide decision making.
- Analytical skills and track record of deriving business insights from data.
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization to optimize business results.
- Strong business acumen.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
