Fitzgerald & Halliday, Inc. (FHI) is seeking a part-time, Senior Corporate Strategy Manager to assist FHI with the implementation of our Strategic Plan and other significant corporate initiatives.  This position is based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Hartford, CT and reports directly to FHI’s Senior Executives. We are looking for a transportation-industry professional with strong strategic, communications, mentoring, and leadership skills who also has a strong understanding of the transportation industry on a local, regional, and national level.  

FHI has been in the transportation, community, and environmental engineering and planning consulting business for over 30 years. Over this time, we have grown in revenue, services, and geographical reach; with projects and clients throughout New England, the Tri-State region, and the Mid-Atlantic region.  Our client base includes federal, state, regional, and local municipal clients as well as private and utility sector clients.  We are proud of our forward-thinking approach to improving communities, solving transportation challenges, and advancing solutions that enhance the quality of life for all people.  This focus also applies to our internal culture, energy, and innovation, which makes FHI a special and highly desired place to work.   

This is a new position within FHI and requires a candidate with at least 25 years of professional experience in the transportation industry in the private or public sector. The candidate should have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree with leadership, project management, business development, and strategic planning experience. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills with strong written, oral, editing, analytical, and strategic abilities.  

This position will provide critical strategic consulting to FHI as well as hands-on implementation of key strategic initiatives.  This position will partner with the Vice President of Projects and Client Services and requires the ability to form strong working partnerships with other senior staff to effectively execute and support the Company's objectives.
