You will be responsible for supporting the execution and management of investments for the ESIF Fund Strategy.
Responsibilities
How you'll spend your time....
Involvement in both origination and execution while also working closely with the portfolio businesses and management teams.
Monitor and develop an in-depth understanding of our target infrastructure sectors (energy, transport, telecoms etc.) and the broader European infrastructure marketplace for developments and new opportunities
Compiling and presenting financial and qualitative analysis of companies and sectors
Developing and reviewing detailed financial models for investment opportunities or portfolio companies, that are fully dynamic and capable of running extensive scenario analysis
Leading selected due diligence streams and coordinating external advisors in investment appraisals
Supporting the on-going asset management of portfolio companies; monitor and prepare reporting material on asset performance
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have....
Demonstrable experience working on transactions; including conducting research and reviewing due diligence materials
Strong commercial acumen, an attention to detail, analytically rigorous and understanding of the fundamentals of the different infrastructure sectors
Experience in financial analysis and valuations - ability to construct complex, fully flexible, excel-based financial models
Strong communicator with experience of presentations and report writing
Preferred Qualifications

Previous European infrastructure investing/M&A experience at a leading infrastructure fund, investment bank, accountancy firm or private equity firm
Outstanding academic credentials
Languages: English and minimum of one other European language
Additional financial qualifications (or working towards) including ACA, CAIA or CFA are advantageous
Proven ability to successfully multi-task and manage priorities under tight timeframes
Self-motivated, proactive and self-directed, with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
Strong judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate and present points of view and ideas effectively both verbally and in written form
Ability to analyse problems/risks and to recommend and implement prudent solutions
A strong and flexible work ethic, plus the ability to be effective in working both independently and in teams with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
