This is an all-rounder role for a mid-level Assistant Company Secretary with experience in listed company processes. You will carry out a mixture of listed company and subsidiary work,
Key Work Level Accountabilities:
Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training
For team leaders, accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product
Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them
Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations
Key Responsibilities for this role:
Attending and minuting meetings for subsidiary boards, including of regulated entities, and running all aspects of board management, including agenda planning, meeting organisation, board evaluation and terms of reference review.
Listed company support tasks, including input to Annual Reporting; support for AGM; share register and capital management including related reporting.
Providing any other assistance as required from time to time to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
ICSA qualified or equivalent legal qualification.
Experience within a company secretariat function for a listing company essential, and FTSE 100 company preferred.
Strong technical IT skills and ideally good working knowledge of Blueprint and Diligent Boards.
Proactive approach, with willingness and adaptability to pick up and run with new challenges. We are a transforming organisation.
