The Role:
Derivatives Analyst-12 Month FTC Derivative Operations manage the processing and settlement of M&G's Derivative transactions on behalf of a variety of clients. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Derivative Operations team initially focusing on OTC Clearing and Collateral management . Key Work Level Accountabilities:
Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
Key Responsibilities for this role:
To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
OTC Collateral Management activities including;
-Collateral reporting to Clients -Monitoring & notification of income and corporate events -Managing the collateral substitution process -Managing the collateral activities performed by 3rd Party service provider
OTC dispute resolution
OTC Trioptima reconciliations
OTC Clearing and margin management
ETD margin reconciliation and processing
Query management
Provide monthly MIS to the management team.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous Collateral experience and dealing with external service providers, brokers and custodians
Excellent client service (internal and external stakeholders)
A control mindset
Ability to work to deadlines
Accuracy and attention to detail
A great team ethos
Worked with the Aladdin BRS system (desirable)
