VP, Energy Project Finance & Advisory, Leading bank in London

In this role you will:

• Help with the origination and execution of both advisory mandates and lending transactions
• Manage junior members of the team on a deal
• Lead client interaction, and ensure the smooth running of transactions
• Support all areas of execution from origination to close, of advisory and arranging transactions in compliance with tha banks risk appetite
• Preparation and presentation of marketing materials
• Preparation of the credit analysis and relevent documentation for review by the banks credit team
• Mentor and help to develop junior members of the team
• Originate and execute suitable transactions
• Financial modeling
• Financial advisory mandate execution
• Preparation of term sheets and negotiation of loan documentation
• Cross-sell products from other areas of the bank
• Other ad-hoc duties when required by the Managing Director
• Promote the profile of the bank in the Energy sector

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• University Degree or equivalent with professional qualifications
• Experience in another leading Project Finance team
• Project Finance financial advisory experience is essential
• Ability to provide substantial support when it comes to the origination and execution of financial advisory mandates
• Ability to construct high quality financial models
• Strong sector experience - Power and renewables
• Experience working within a Project Finance team at another bank
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge across the European market
• Evidence of relevant deal execution experience
• Ability to maintain and develop good relationships with clients
• Good team player
• Ability to also work independently
