A VPApps Support/Implementation Specialistwill perform a variety of roles in support of VPApps Clients and products. This will include activities such as product installation, implementation, training and support. Also, based on interest and/or skill sets, the work may include light involvement in Microsoft PowerBI, SSRS Reports and basic Microsoft SQL. This a full time tele-commuting role. Prefer candidates be in Pacific or Mountain time zones.
Core Duties:
Participate in multiple concurrent activities including:
Pre-sales activities - Evaluating customer processes and data.
Installation – Installing software using well defined processes and tools.
Implementation – Setting system parameters and options based on customer needs.
Training – Training customers on VPApps Products.
Customer Support – Responding to customer questions/issues via phone and email.
Based on skill set duties may also include:
PowerBI dashboard and report development and/or customization.
Running SQL scripts and processes as a part of the support process.
Provide clear communication regarding projects, issues, and schedules to staff and partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, construction management, or computer science or relevant work experience.
Experience implementing, using and/or administering Viewpoint Vista Software.
Understanding of construction business and accounting processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of energy and creativity.
Preferred – Experience with SSRS Reports and PowerBI.
Preferred – Familiarity with database programming using SQL or willingness to learn the basics.
