Manage Ergon’s Global Risk Management program including the structuring, negotiation, purchase and management of over 50 P&C and management liability policies annually
Responsible for annual premium spend of over $20M, as well as, associated allocations to 38 different business units
Direct insurance renewal information gathering process, completion of applications and audit process
Direct property engineering survey’s, reports, site visits and annual recommendation tracking
Direct and lead brokerage partner relationships, including open items issues and annual stewardship reports
Prepare TCOR analyses and budgets, identify exposures and offer solutions to mitigate overall risk
Review policy wording to ensure that it appropriately and accurately meets Company expectations and negotiate new wording as required
Provide education for senior management on insurance program and impacts to operational issues
Evaluate and negotiate insurance language in contracts, leases and/or operating agreements and, if necessary, develop and recommend insurance language
Prepare monthly reports for senior management on risk issues
Other duties as assigned by the VP- Risk Management
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in finance or business
10 or more years in risk management and insurance
Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Strategic and creative thinking to help business units accomplish their goals
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to make decisions quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple assignments and prioritize
Preferred:
In-house risk management experience
Prior work in the energy sector
ARM, CRM, CPCU or CIC designation
MBA or other advanced degree
Experience presenting to executive management
