Sr. Sales Representative / New Business Development(2100066) - Virtual Office/Remote
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to prepare, plan and execute the sales of BASF's sodium-sulfur (NaS) battery energy storage portfolio. Your well-established contacts to power companies, integrators and EPCs will allow you to identify projects early. You will identify, analyze and generate customer needs and discuss business and technical specifications in depth. You will also play an important focal point role in the execution of the projects.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Leveraging your bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical discipline (or related field) and related experience, you will spot opportunities early and investigate & evaluate specific business applications for the customer related product and service portfolio.
Your unwavering customer focus will be evident as you prepare customer contacts, build/enlarge and maintain a customer focused network.
Relying on your strong skills in organization and negotiation, you will prepare, coordinate and negotiate proposals in alignment with supporting functions and management.
Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will serve you well as you act as a point of contact to customers in commercial matters and influence collaboration within BASF organization.
Applying your solid level of technical understanding, you will discuss technical topics with customers around the batteries and integration thereof.
Focusing on customers' needs, you will contribute to the development of After Sales Service.
Your robust analytical skills will be essential as you analyze the specific market conditions and enlarge a sound market related network of stakeholders.
