POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations, provides daily oversight and management of all assigned staff and department operations within Plant Operations and Construction/Renovation Services. Assists with capital budget projects, campus planning, personnel management, maintenance programs, preventive maintenance development and sustainability, energy oversight and continued �green� research, utility management, life safety, oversight of landscape maintenance programs, and other related duties. This position shall instill and consistently model customer service behaviors towards serving all Tenet Central Coast customers, employees, and patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
5 years in supervisory or management experience in hospital or similar industry - required
The Joint Commission and Life Safety Code experience - required
Knowledge of State Hospital licensing standards - required
Construction Management experience in hospital or similar industry - preferred
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Current CA Driver�s License
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear, and speak. Fluent in written and spoken English. Must have computer skills on desktop and laptop and be able to assimilate new programs. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
