The Director of Developmentand Outreach will be responsible for supporting the school’s capital initiatives, engaging in donor development, and building alumni relationships. Along with responsibilities related to overseeing the Annual Fund and expanding Cold Spring’s funding portfolio through prospect identification, research and outreach, this individual has the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with the Director of Cold Spring to inspire and engage the community in interesting and creative ways. We are looking for a creative, outside-the-box thinker who can capture Cold Spring’s story and seek out opportunities to inspire and engage people within and outside of the community in genuine ways.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, and two years or more of fundraising or school administrative experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, relationship builder and a strong writer who is able to engage diverse audiences and convey the value of a Cold Spring education in a compelling way. The position requires strong organizational and networking skills, the ability to work on various events simultaneously and a strong eye for detail.
