The VP of Post-Acute Care willdevelop, administer, and direct System operational activities related to our post-acute care network. Functions as the system business operational/financial/strategic executive leader of the post-acute care line of business, including home health, hospice, palliative care, hospital-at-home, and others, responsible for significantly improving the operational and financial performance of the business and to excel in second curve deliverables. Accountable for driving P&L, including annual revenue targets, and other team leadership and strategic objectives as identified for overall management and growth of the business.
Serves as the executive leader and expert in the provision of home health, hospice, palliative care, hospital-at-home and other services providing leadership, analysis, planning, and support to ensure that consistent processes and program objectives extend across the service area in alignment with Centura Healths system and Ambulatory Services program goals, and objectives and shared outcomes. Provides executive leadership to ensure the team provides high quality care and meets the mission in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to bring a more robust, enhanced product to the market and run at optimal capacity. Responsible for the viability of the organization's services in the areas of operations, strategy, marketing, growth, community relations, compliance, and fiscal management. The position ensures the consistent processes and program objectives extend across the service area for the state of Colorado and Western Kansas market agencies. The mission that this business line encompasses is a broad-ranged one, designed to enable high-quality service to system's patient population, further promote strong customer service and satisfaction, and maximize cost savings through integration within Ambulatory Services and the Centura Health system. Collaborates effectively with leaders, physicians, peers, staff and administration to promote communication, cooperation and teamwork in support of Centura initiatives. Designs and evaluates processes to improve systems and patient care results across multiple departments and across the continuum of care.
What You Bring/Job Requirements

Bachelor (BA/BS) in relevant subject area such as clinical, management or business is Required.
Master's Degree in Clinical area or management is Required.
Valid Driver's License Required
10 years of operational leadership in a healthcare setting characterized by progressively expanding scope of responsibility, to preferably include several years in operations executive role for a large complex Home Care/Hospice/Palliative Care organization. (Prefer past scope of responsibility larger than $13 million in revenues).
Self-starter with high degree of initiative, results orientation, motivation, flexibility, energy and creativity.
Operates efficiently in a collaborative team environment and can navigate the intricacies of a complex and highly matrixed structure.
Demonstrated success leading initiatives that have significant impact across the organization.
Senior leader who has advanced knowledge of the evolving health care delivery system including a strategic, innovative perspective on population health management. Substantial knowledge of current trends in home health, hospice, palliative care and hospital-at-home care, federal and and state regulations, state licensing requirements, and ability to keep abreast of legislation pertaining to social and health needs.
Strong business acumen with ability to drive change in a large, complex organization with matrix reporting relationship through use of interpersonal skills such as negotiating, collaborating and influencing.
Understanding of reimbursement of regulatory issues regarding home care, hospice, palliative care and hospital-at-home required.
This position may be eligible for a Sign-on Bonus and/or Relocation Bonus.
