Wood is seeking a Quality Control Manager for the Little Rock, AR area. Our Company is committed to safety and quality. The successful candidate shall establish a comprehensive Quality Control Plan that provides a verifiable record of performance that can be inspected by the customer to determine compliance. Contract goals must be achieved by complying with all safety requirements. The successful candidate will ensure contract compliance on facility operations and maintenance (O&M) activities and Food Services and Vending requirements. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, engaging and energetic, able to create a cohesive team and deliver upon all contractual obligations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive Quality Control Plan that represents each area of work included in the PWS
Responsible for developing the inspection program that ensures the quality of service meets the contract requirements regarding timeliness, accuracy, appearance, completeness, consistency, and conformity, additionally, verity for the food service requirement
Develop a Corrective action process that ensures any substandard service that is identified is tracked until the deficiency is corrected and the work completed and properly closed - This tracking record will be maintained for analysis to ensures that all work performed on behalf of the company meets the highest quality
Provide both senior project management and the customer with monthly QC metric outlining the level of our service and update any corrective action status
Develop and maintain positive, partnership type, relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Evaluate work schedules for all required services to ensure they are being performed and on time
Prepare reports on maintenance performance for managers to brief their shops
Evaluate contract performance for sub - contractors to ensure service meets WPI standards and contract compliance
Must read and completely understand the contract and be able to make decisions that ensure contract compliance
Use CMMS to track work schedules and requirements
Attend client meetings to discuss that status of ongoing and future work
Skills / Qualifications
College degree plus 5 years’ experience OR High school diploma or equivalent plus 10 years’ experience responsible for Managing and supervising a Quality Control staff on contract of the same size, scope, and complexity
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to develop and present Quality Control slide presentations and reports
General understanding of OSHA requirements and reporting procedures
Experience with managing a Government Quality Control project with basic FAR requirements preferred
