The Correlative Research Project Associate ( RPA) continues to be a vital and necessary role within the Sarcoma Service .This individual will be the main contact for various correlative projects. There are currently 12 ongoing ranging from immunotherapy analysis, epigenetics and prognostic biobanking.
With the creation of the MSK Sarcoma Center, our team is committed to develop new therapeutic targets and treatments for patients. We have and continue to discover effective targeted therapies for many types of sarcoma.Ultimately, the addition of this position will aide in the progress of necessary and innovative sarcoma clinical trials serving both adult and pediatric patients, a primary goal of the Sarcoma Center.
You Will:
Play a supportive role to the Clinical Research Associates to ensure sample collections on the Investigator Initiated Trials are aligned with the primary and secondary endpoints (9 currently active and 5 opening by end of Q2 of this year).
Facilitate the transfer of biospecimens from lab to lab, both within and outside the institution
Collect and store data for each project and collaborate with PIs on the submission of abstracts for various conferences such as ASCO and CTOS
Manage ongoing and new departmental projects and create processes to ensure that goals are met.
Create and maintain excel databases/queries for protocols, capture and maintain data/databases
Serve as the primary contact for all levels of staff regarding data administration matters as they relate to the databases
Generate reports to all necessary parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol.
Compile and analyze data for abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations. Coordinate a Data Dictionary.
Screen patients to determine eligibility for protocols

You Need:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience (1 year if you have a Masters degree)
Masters degree (e.g., public health, implementation science or related field) preferred
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and SPSS (or SAS, SQL)
Excellent knowledge of REDCap preferred
Knowledge of Visio and/or Gant project management software is helpful
Excellent data management, organizational, oral and written communication, project coordination and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
