Real Time Marketing is a key enabler to our vision of one-to-one marketing and personalization at scale. Our approach to Real Time Marketing (RTM) is grounded on rapid experimentation, leverages data and technology, and is driven by self-sufficient multi-functional teams working in an Agile setting.
The Test & Learn Scrum Lead (Scrum Lead) is a critical member of the Agile Real Time Marketing Home team, which is responsible for driving Home segment growth and achieving operational eﬃciencies by delivering relevant and timely content and experiences, orchestrated across all channels and devices, along the entire customer journey. The Scrum Lead has overall accountability for orchestrating the seamless operation of an Agile multi-functional group - a pod. This pod is expected to deliver in-market experiments by leveraging data and technology, identifying and customizing experiences to specific audiences, and pulling on levers such as media, creative assets, and promotions. In this capacity, you will be directly responsible for the operational calendar and cadence of the pod, generation and prioritization of testing ideas, and for the velocity with which the pod launches tests as well as the measurable success rate of those in-market tests.
Leads a group of experts that execute quick-turnaround experiments designed to create real bottom-line impact.
Sets the testing direction for the pod, ensuring a diverse set of tests that balances learning and boldness of the tests with delivering bottom-line business impact.
Owns the pod's backlog of testing ideas, actively generates and prioritizes ideas to ensure a healthy pipeline of future tests
Works with the Scale & Campaign group to prioritize the backlog for review with the Control Tower, and influences the enablement team so technical solutions needed to launch future tests are created
Works closely with the Test Lead to execute sprints, ensuring deadlines and milestones are achieved so tests can be launched as expected.
Organizes and leads Agile ceremonies including daily standups and working sessions needed to launch tests, sprint retrospectives so lessons learned are incorporated into future sprints and leveraged across the RTM program, and ideation sessions in which ideas are generated and prioritized.
Owns delivering 4+ tests per month with a 50% success rate.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience in marketing or digital operations.
Experience working in a fast paced setting in which outcomes are time-boxed, and pivots in how to deliver against those outcomes are expected.
Experience with digital marketing tools (web analytics, personalization, media activation)
Even better if you have:
Master’s Degree or MBA.
Ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience in agile project management.
Ability to motivate and channel the energy of a group of functional experts that report into their respective functional leaders
Highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment and can manage multiple priorities.
Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience in segment marketing.
High level of business acumen.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Highly collaborative with the ability to coach, motivate, mediate conflict and facilitate efforts across a cross-functional team focused on a common goal.
Refined organizational skills - provide structure and planning to keep projects on track.
