The Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services is responsible for leading and growing Villa Academy’s PK- 8 admissions and enrollment efforts with the goal of achieving and maintaining full-capacity enrollment of qualified students. Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services is a key member of the Head’s Administrative Staff, which values initiative, collaboration, flexibility, humor, positive energy and a collegial spirit.

Strategy & Operations:
Establishes overall admissions and enrollment yearly strategies, plans and operations based on thorough evaluation, financial aid and marketing information analysis, trend evaluation and outcome measurement;
Manages all aspects of new student enrollment and, in partnership with the business office, implements the re-enrollment of current students;
Administers the school’s financial aid program and works with the Head of School and Director of Business and Finance, on financial aid award decisions;
Collaborates with colleagues on all aspects of admissions and enrollment marketing.
Represents Villa Academy to prospective families and the wider public, enhancing the school’s visibility;
Plans and conducts group and private tours of the school, student visit days and applicant and family interviews;
Plans and conducts the fall open house, as well as an array of welcome, retention and orientation events;
Engages the school community – faculty and staff, volunteers, current parents and alumni – in admission programs;
Arranges admissions testing, processes student applications and communicates with applicant families during the admission process;
Works with academic division heads in the applicant selection process and communicates admission decisions to applicant families;
Partners with the Middle School Director to conduct a spring high school information night and meets with families as needed on high school selection;
Produces regular admission and/or enrollment reports with clear progress metrics for the Head of School.
Staff, Volunteers, Committees:
Manages the Admissions Associate;
Manages Admissions, Recruitment and Welcome Committees;
Attends regular meetings of the Administrative Staff;
Serves on additional committees and attends additional meetings as designated.
Two years of admissions experience as director or associate/assistant director;
Knowledge and understanding of and/or past experience in an independent/Catholic school setting;
Marketing experience and social media use in a workplace setting highly desired;
Proficient technology use, especially with Villa’s platforms: Google Suite and Ravenna Admission/Enrollment CRM database;
Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed in the execution of admission events and responsibilities.
