As a Senior Analyst, Sales & Traffic, you will be an essential member of URW's Analysis & Insights team, responsible for providing sales and traffic reporting, along with strategic analysis, for asset management and executive-level decision making. The ideal candidate will have: strong attention to detail, an interest in (and preferably some experience in) automation and efficiencies, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and a degree in business, economics, math, or a related field, and a proven track record of success.
The core responsibilities of the role are:
Generate monthly and quarterly sales and traffic reporting and insights for senior management, performing regular audits to ensure data accuracy
Partner with centers in monthly sales collection, managing effort directly for larger retailer chains
Create sales and traffic ad hoc and trend analyses that enable better decision-making for asset-specific and overall corporate strategy
Demonstrate innovative leveraging of rich tenant sales database to derive meaningful insights, including analysis of trends and their potential impact on Westfield centers, etc.
Collaborate with various departments to complete reporting, providing both related training and ongoing “customer service” (e.g. Center Management, Leasing, Media Sales/Brand Ventures, etc.)
Contribute to build-out of self-service tools for sales and traffic data, partnering with IT on design, testing and data validation; fulfill data requests in the meantime
Become go-to resource for sales- and traffic-related systems: JDE E1, Mercury, TM1, Mallcomm, etc.
Automate and create efficiencies where possible, streamlining reporting efforts and building user-friendly reports for the field
Support traffic counting system upgrades and related reconciliations
Maintain ongoing knowledge of retail industry and overall U.S. economy; contribute to periodic reports on trends, forecasts, retailer expansion/contraction plans, etc.

3-5 years’ experience in sales reporting, finance, or analytics
Retail industry background preferred
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
