Commercial Finance Manager

You will be a qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience. Upstream/energy experience would be advantageous. A proven record of motivating and developing talent and direct management of teams, significant commercial acumen and ability to interpret complex data and model new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include

• Prepare management and financial accounts, presenting results and analysis to senior finance managers
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis of financial and non-financial data
• Lead quarterly forecasts working closely with Portfolio teams and FP&A
• Prepare financial analysis for investment papers and review in light of strategic, tax and accounting considerations
• Work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and Strategy & Development team in the development of new concepts/ ideas
• Provision of accounting support for business transactions, including counterparty due diligence
• Effectively lead, motivate, coach and develop one financial analyst
• Ad hoc requests and support, including provision of data and collaboration with the central FP&A team
