St. Rose High School is a Catholic faith-based educational community where students in grades 9 through 12 learn to integrate their thinking and believing in ways that encourage intellectual excellence, nurture relationships, and inspire a life of leadership and service to others. Founded in 1923 by the Parish community of St. Rose and nurtured by the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Rose offers a future-ready, comprehensive college preparatory curriculum on a state of the art campus. St. Rose has a student body of 400 students, employs 60 faculty and staff members and has an alumni base of over 12,000.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Enrollment Management oversees all aspects of the admissions process, recruitment, and financial aid and will direct the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. The Director will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure St. Rose High School meets enrollment objectives.
The ideal candidate should be a data driven decision maker, an experienced admissions and financial aid professional, and a proven creative leader in student recruitment and retention. The Director will develop and lead inclusive outreach efforts to draw diverse families to the school and to ensure that St. Rose High School continues to enroll promising students who both thrive as part of the school community and in turn contribute to the community as a whole.
The Director should be a team player who has a warm collaborative nature, positive energy, sense of humor, possesses superior organization and prioritization skills, and is self-motivated in the completion of his/her work. She/he should have exceptional communication, written, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have a genuine empathy for prospective families and be able to manage expectations and deliver admissions decisions in a manner that is honest, caring, and diplomatic.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent St. Rose High School and serve as the face of the school to the broader community and prospective families while communicating the school’s mission.
Engage and inform prospective parents and students about the benefits of a St. Rose High School education.
Encourage the school community to participate in admissions’ events.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with area schools and parishes.
Develop a regional recruitment program to include elementary and middle school principals, as well as pastors and Directors of Religious Education.
Lead and develop a communications plan with prospective families to move them from inquiry to enrollment.
Oversee and participate in the development of admissions materials, events and marketing practices.
Oversee the selection process of new students including the work of the admissions and financial aid committees. Lead retention efforts with the principal and administrative team.
Manage and support the financial aid process.
Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to strategically develop the overall marketing campaign for the school.
Serve as the key “brand ambassador” for the school and activate the school community in support of the admissions and enrollment process.
Manage the admissions budget.
Other duties as assigned.
