RESPONSIBILITIES The purpose of this position is to identify and implement efficiency improvements within the North America portfolio (700+sites) in order to help the client work towards achieving their public environmental goals of emission reductions and renewable energy usage, as well as reducing operating costs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, develop and implement energy / waste / water savings projects and onsite renewables for North America portfolio. Responsible for formalizing the scope, completing financial and savings analysis for approval. Coordinate energy procurement for electric power and natural gas to mitigate cost risks and protect budget stability. Develops and presents energy and sustainability monthly updates to CBRE and Iron Mountain leadership. Monitors and reports on energy / water / waste use for North America. Uses data to support variances with utilities budgets. Engages and collaborates with North America Facilities Management and Project Management teams for implementation of projects. Manages data collection of Iron Mountain's scope 1, scope 2 and scope 3 sources, for quarterly and annual environmental reporting. Responsible for stopping, starting and transferring utility services during vacates or move-ins in the North America portfolio. Manages utility relationships to ensure services are maintained and helps source utility rebates for capital projects. Assists leadership with communicating past, present and future energy plans and performance through formal presentations to the account team. Supports the development of Green Building Certification strategies for the portfolio.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year college or university in Engineering or similar specialized field of environmental / corporate sustainability.. Minimum of tjree-five years related experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Certifications of LEED Green Associate, Professional Engineer (PE), and/or AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is preferred but not required
