Digital Transformation Consultant (Industry Consultant)- FoodTech/ F&B, SEA
The Digital Transformation Consultant - FoodTech, SEA is responsible for providing Rockwell Automation, and our customers, with F&B domain expertise driving growth through disciplined sales and BU collaboration, market intelligence, and qualified sales leads with optimized products and solutions.
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Consultant - FoodTech, SEA to be based in our Vietnam / Indonesia / Malaysia office.
Our ideal candidate should be a Technology Consultant/Principal Consultant/Solution Architect working in the F&B industry and is currently in charge of areas such as business applications, production processes, manufacturing and IoT within their company.
With this domain knowledge and having done it before, you will be the Subject Matter Expert in all things relating to any IT/Factory Automation/Software Applications that are needed to be used to support F&B customers within South East Asia region in their Technology Self Discovery and Digital Transformation journey.
You will demonstrate understanding of IOT, Predictive Analytics, MES and other emerging technology trends and their impact on business decisions in F&B industry and clearly communicate this knowledge to extended sales teams.
You will assist customers to better understand their existing Manufacturing environments, provide professional Consulting advise on how other major industry players manage and conduct their Manufacturing and propose a Digital Innovation roadmap and execution plan to achieve the Digital Transformation goals.
This will be done with the ultimate goal of helping customers connect their Manufacturing to their Enterprise environments to improve their business visibility and efficiency.
Requirement / Experience
You should know everything there is to know about how your company is using Enterprise Software such as SAP/Oracle in both your Enterprise and Production plant environments.
You would know how your IT systems, ERP systems and production automation systems are set up and connected. You will have deep expertise in both software and hardware.
Coding skills are not required. However, you need to understand how your critical business applications, hardware and production systems work in your environment.
This role will require the candidate to provide deep F&B knowledge, technical expertise and thought leadership to our customers and internal teams.
Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to travel at least 30% (Domestic & International)
Software Industry Experience
Typically requires 8+ years in an industry related role, regional customer/Auto Tire services provider.
4-year degree, preferably a BS in engineering, or BS/BA in business or marketing with technical experience in the life science field. An MBA or advanced degree in business management is desirable. Ideally, this person will have significant sales and business development experience in the assigned industries and/or the associated OEM segments, with a successful track record.
Depth of knowledge of the assigned industries, regulatory practice experience, and optimally has significant experience selling into this vertical. International experience is necessary
Successful sales management experience within world-class sales organizations in the automation business
Demonstrated ability to forge relationships, build and inspire trust with all levels
Must be capable of matrix leadership and have credibility and confidence within the sales organization with strong peer leadership.
Ability to influence and operate within a matrix organization. Self-confident with a high energy level, proactive management style, and strong conceptual skills. Can quickly earn the respect of Rockwell Automation management. Has sense of urgency, drive and personal motivation, yet has an adaptable/flexible style.
