Work You'll Do
Assist with engagement planning, organizing, budgeting, audit plan execution, and documentation of audit procedures performed; assist with designing and implementing systems development, conversion, and application control reviews, including process and procedure, documentation, control identification, test plan creation and execution, and executive reporting; understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches; assist in the design and development of reports and dashboards for varying levels of the organization; analyze large, structured or unstructured data from multiple sources to extract value and actionable insights; contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel; build and nurture positive working relationships with clients and internal teams; identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability; assist with financial statement audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Readiness, IT controls, and SOC 1 Audits; and utilize ERP and mainframe technologies, including PeopleSoft, Lawson, Invision, JDE, SAP, Windows, AS/400, UNIS/AIX, DB2, and MS SQL.
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of experience assessing security configurations and applying SOX, SOC, NIST CyberSecurity Framework, and ISO security standards to business processes, risks, and controls.
Experience must include eighteen months of:
Performing SOX testing across multiple industries, including Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), consumer, energy, and utility industries;
Conducting financial statement audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404, SOX Readiness, and IT controls;
Utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technologies, including PeopleSoft, JDE, Windows, AS400, and MS SQL;
Designing and executing test plans and testing procedures for Information Technology (IT) application audits;
Performing Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) controls testing;
Supporting SSAE18 and SOC1 attestations;
Conducting IT and business process walkthroughs, executing GITC testing procedures related to manual and automated IT controls, and performing automated business process controls within cash, equity, real estate assets, advisor reimbursement, revenue, human resources, payroll, dispositions, accounts receivable, and accounts payable;
Conducting policy and procedure reviews; and
Auditing and testing client platform baseline standards.
Position requires 90% travel.
