Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced Software & Solutions Commercial Programs Manager to develop global commercial strategies that promote Rockwell Automation Software & Control Digital Design and Visualization software products through the appropriate channels to maximize revenue and market share. Partner with BUs to develop capability and application roadmaps, synchronized System Release roadmap and execute a holistic Go-to-Market strategy.
This position works for Portfolio Marketing Director - Integrated Architecture. You will be responsible for content creation, internal mobilization, proper positioning of new features, ecosystem readiness, channel education, sales enablement, integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) marketing and event and launch support. Also work with the Regional Marketing organizations to align message, product introduction activities and commercial programs associated with Integrated Architecture's portfolio.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, and delivery of global commercial programs/campaigns that include inbound/outbound marketing, media relations, events, sales enablement, training and other pre-sale marketing communication tactics.
Assists in development of commercial plan and budget. Understand how to apply marketing techniques to provide the most effective programs. Stay abreast of marketing trends and introduce new and creative approaches to marketing programs that grow sales revenue.
Develop deep understanding of target markets, attractive segments, competitive landscape, new business models, customer personas and buyer's journey to inform messaging and positioning.
Plan, deliver and track launch deliverables (existing user conversion, adoption by new customers, expansion to new target application) and marketing deliverables (increase brand awareness, generate demand)
Create compelling stories by clearly articulating the impact of the platform to the users of that existing software as well as new users. Also, articulate the transition to the new platform for existing users - why, when, and Why.
Work closely with the Product Management, Sales, MarComm, Marketing Ops and regions to mobilize resources for a successful product launch.
Develop and deliver marketing programs and content that acquire new customers, retain, and grow existing segments and increase revenue from the new software platform.
Design solution-level integrated campaign strategies that include customer targeting, geography, marketing channel selection, content, and measurement, and driving them from creation to completion.
Demonstrate capability to work on multiple types of projects at any one time. Manage commercial programs for market/segments with different target audiences and drivers. Work with cross-business and cross-regional teams to leverage expertise where is it available to get the job done.
Identify enablement and activation needs for partner network (distributors, system integrators, technology partners, OEM, Developers, Alliance Partners)
Works with cross-business and cross-regional teams to develop programs that meet global needs or can be easily leveraged globally. Shares development of materials so that the most appropriate region takes the lead.
Assists in preparation for key Rockwell Automation trade shows and events including strategy, attendee promotions, exhibit updates, programs/materials, meeting rooms, audio visual, hospitality, graphics, staffing, and other necessary duties to complete a successful show.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or marketing
Five years background in a business-to-business commercial marketing role required, preferably in an industrial setting or 10 years of equivalent directly related experience.
Strong project management, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and written/verbal communication skills required; ability to sell ideas and present strategies at an executive level.

Prior experience launching new software products and solutions and creating end-to-end marketing plans.
Expert in creating high quality marketing material including messaging guides, cheat sheets, demo videos, case studies, eBooks, Whitepapers. Also, experience working with external agency to create compelling content.
Experience with modern marketing techniques - Account Based Marketing (ABM), Revenue Marketing. Experience launching and marketing cloud-based offerings and operationalizing subscription-based business models.
Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization.
Motivated self-starter and a high-energy individual who thrives on working in the complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
An MBA or advanced degree in business management or marketing is desirable
