Join our Specialised and Asset Finance business and take a leading role in building a significant mobility business for Macquarie, with a portfolio of funded electric and hydrogen bus projects for our clients in the UK and Europe.
Working with the advanced mobility team, as a high energy and self-motivated individual, you will be instrumental in building a fast growing and successful asset finance business, specialising in originating, structuring and executing innovative and scalable asset finance solutions. The successful candidate will work on bus financing transactions, and also have the opportunity to work across the deal pipeline being developed by the mobility team.
You will be supported by a global team of asset finance industry specialists in addition to the broader support of the Macquarie Group.
You will have long-standing, industry relationships and a proven track record of successful execution and innovation in the UK bus market. Your prior experience will combine a proven track record of success with strong commercial skills and an interest in relevant emerging transport industry trends and technologies.
Originate and execute tailored asset finance solutions for our customers, including bus operators and transit authorities.
Leverage your relationships with operators, OEMs, regulators and other industry participants to deliver highly attractive commercial solutions to our customers.
Develop and deliver a sustainable business/portfolio over the medium term.
Bringing a background in operating or financing bus projects you will have deep familiarity with the 'eco-system' and key players in the UK bus market, including OEMs, operators, suppliers and transit authorities.
You will also have working knowledge of bus and vehicle finance considerations: tendering, financing and residual value considerations, and end of life options.
