Orrick currently has an opportunity for a HRIS Specialist – Ops & Performance Management in the Global Operations & Innovation Center ("GOIC") in Wheeling WV.

Responsibilities: The HRIS Specialist will provide support for PeopleSoft, UKGPro and ServiceNow data validation and maintenance including:
Process Employee Action Notices, Employee Separation Notices and other transaction documents. Review the inbound documents for accuracy and completeness in consideration of Orrick policies and regulatory compliance. Advise people originating the forms to correct data and add missing information and interpret appropriate PeopleSoft coding.
Oversee the HRIS mailbox and first-line support - prioritizing and escalating requests for HRIS timely responsiveness and completion.
Provide HRIS administration for ServiceNow requests including name and address changes.
Monitor feeds to/from PeopleSoft for accuracy, correcting transactions as necessary.
Maintain employee data in the PeopleSoft HRIS database. Coordinate status changes with the payroll and benefits departments, IT and other stakeholders.
Maintain organizational and position-related data in the PeopleSoft and UKGPro set-up tables.
Produce queries and reports for validating the accuracy of data and support the daily audit.
Support talent management systems assessments and implementations, collecting and documenting requirements details, participating in user acceptance testing, and configuring set-up tables.
Set-up, maintain, and execute the technical administration of the firm's Attorney and Staff Performance Review system (currently viDesktop).
Work closely with senior firm leadership and technical resources to develop and launch new review processes and other viDesktop forms for various attorney and staff populations as necessary.
Set up initial reviewer-reviewee relationships, including branching (relating titles to specific forms) and reviewee population.
Respond to change requests, including editing review form and other issues which affect the Performance Review Process.
Set-up teams and groups to support reporting and to build the target populations for each review process.
Assist users with basic questions about how to access and use the system.
Run regular and ad hoc reports to monitor performance review cycles and to analyze performance management results.
Run interfaces between the performance management system and the firm's PeopleSoft HRIS system. Assist in ensuring data integrity.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
One to three years demonstrated experience in a HR department of a professional services organization preferred. Good knowledge of HR business procedures and information requirements.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel and Word) required.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar HRIS systems required.
Familiarity with database management systems, SQL reporting, and HTML preferred.
Ability to work with a team as well as independently.
Able to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
Excellent customer focus, along with strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Must have strong attention to detail and be highly accurate.
Ability to multi-task and organize information required.
