Our BRAND NEW, climate- controlled Holt, MI Distribution Center is seeking a dynamic and motivated Inventory Associate to join our team. The Inventory Associate is responsible for ensuring that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods). The successful candidate will have 3-5 years' experience, be well-rounded conducting physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct. May conduct analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for administrative tasks involving shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of products.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and customers.
Assist DC Inventory Manager with inventory reports and projects.
Coordinate with Receiving Department on daily receiving issues and report findings to suppliers and freight companies.
Research pick errors and log in data base.
Provide support to customers and Call Center to answer questions regarding deliveries, orders, and product availability.
Research customer issues utilizing partnership with internal departments, couriers, and vendors.
Maintain visitors log and issue badges while ensuring proper security protocol is followed for all visitors.
Assist with maintaining DC records in Record Information Management system.
General office management support which can include filing, ordering supplies and
Evaluates incoming Supplier Notices of Recalls, Product Corrections or Advisories, Safety Alerts, Discontinuations etc., to assess the impact to the business and/or its active customers to determine the actions needed in response to the supplier notices.
YRAUD - Receiving discrepancy research and resolution using SAP transactions.
Maintain and Monitor 53210 report.
Must be self-motivated and work without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to participate as a member of a multi-functional team
Must have proven history of acceptable safety and attendance
Strong analytical attention to detail required
Ability to work flexible schedules
Ability to prioritize your daily tasks and work overtime as needed
