5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
â¢ 3+ years of Power Utilities and Renewables experience

2+ years of experience in implementing Outage Management Systems
â¢ 2+ years experience with either Oracle NMS or Siemens Spectrum Power
Senior expertise in Java programing. At least 5 years of experience in software development. The required profile should have the capacity to cover the full cycle of a software development.
Expertise in OMS Java development frameworks and java classes.
Senior expertise in oracle database: expertise should cover both, availability to write pl/sql code, packages that will later be called up from the Java code, prepare the design impact to the database for a new software model. Specifically required:
Experience in PL/SQL with Oracle DB.
Experience on using tables and other oracle objects: triggers, views, synonyms, understanding of the Oracle design approach.
Experience in Unix shell, ksh and shell scripting
Experience in C programming for building interfaces using data residing in Oracle databases (PRO C).
â¢ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
â¢ Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
â¢ Understanding and experience in OT-IT integration
Full understanding of Outage Management Systems, (OMS) development frameworks
Previous experience in software development under Control Systems Applications for Utilities will be valued: Outage Management System, its workflow, development of interfaces.
â¢ Understanding and experience in AMI-OMS/ADMS integration
â¢ Experience with OSII, ABB, GE or Siemens OMS/ADMS
â¢ Understanding of other utility systems including GIS, Outage Communication systems, Customer Information Systems
â¢ Understanding of grid network model(s)
â¢ Understanding of Data Dependencies and experience in assisting with improving Data Quality
â¢ Translating Operational Business Processes related to managing outages into OMS platform configurations
â¢ Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills
â¢ Ability to manage assigned tasks and coordination of projects
â¢ Ability to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports
Experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders
Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports
