CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Regional Portfolio Leader (West) to help drive the rapid growth and success of our Workday Post-Production Services (PPS) Practice. In this role, you will work closely with existing National Market Leadership to provide technology strategy, implementation and support services to both large multi-billion-dollar enterprises and emerging growth companies. Our expertise is in cloud or software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies that support the back-office functions - Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and HR. As a Regional Portfolio Leader on our team, you will help our clients navigate the enhancement, transformation, optimization, and expansion of their Workday application.
Client Delivery: Lead the development and delivery of services in the following areas:
Support our clients and consultants as a Regional Executive Sponsor, providing oversight to teams as they implement our solutions
Confidently and credibly propose solutions to problems and improvements to clients' existing processes/plans
Work with team members and clients to achieve agreed upon timelines, set deliverable structure and content while producing "client-ready" deliverables
Lead and provide oversight for a portfolio of projects in a specific region or vertical
Oversee and manage multiple complex projects within scope, timeline and budget
Business Development Support:
Work closely with our existing Workday PPS Sales, National Market Leader, and Delivery Directors to develop Go-To-Market strategies
Support marketing efforts such as creating thought leadership, attending conferences, events and networking
Support business development efforts by coordinating with clients, understanding their needs, determining how our services meet the needs, and crafting proposals and statements of work
Provide ongoing sales support by providing recommendations to sales decks and other business development templates (SOWs, etc.)
Develop and enhance relationships with various Workday organizations, including Customer Success, Sales, and Project Delivery to create opportunities
PPS Practice Leadership:
Understand key industry/technical developments and trends and articulate how clients will be affected
Support annual planning sessions to set strategic goals and monitor results throughout the year
Manage client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases, to include strategy, goal setting, deliverables, and maintain an integrated project plan
Develop and manage client relationships by understanding their business, listening to their needs, and ensuring responsive service and exceptional quality
Develop timely resolutions to issues, risks, and project team conflicts
Generate new and add-on business opportunities, develop delivery methodologies and new service offerings
Be willing to do and not just lead or manage
12+ years of consulting and/or industry experience with 5-6 years of consulting experience with Big Four or equivalent organizations (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, IBM, Accenture, Oracle).
5+ years of Workday ecosystem experience. Understanding of the Workday organization and network is a critical differentiator among interested candidates
"Techno-functional" blend of training/experience with knowledge of at least one Financial/ERP System ((i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Sage Intacct, etc.)
Business acumen with a strong understanding of accounting and business processes as well as information systems
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
Ability to work with client management and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
Mentorship and people development capabilities
Proven business development proficiency, with strong networking skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills including comfort with executive audiences
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
Creativity, confidence, and flexibility
High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit!

A Note on Travel: For the past year+ we have delivered projects remotely with much success, though we do plan to travel again in the near future. Our approach is different in that we are purposeful in scheduling on-site visits with clients around their unique needs rather than the standard Monday-Thursday travel schedule that you'll find at other large firms. We expect travel to be roughly 20-25% (could be more or less) but we'll continue to monitor this area and adapt as needed
Workday (or similar Accounting/Finance/ERP/Procurement system), PMP, CPA, LSS
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, accounting information systems, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, systems, or other technical discipline
