Responsible for overseeing the cooperative's day-to-day accounting function and managing the financial statement close process. Assists with coordination of year-end external auditor review and audit procedures. Responsible for keeping a complete and systematic set of records and ledger accounts, recording financial transactions and the financial status of the system. Prepares reports and financial statements.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or Finance if significant accounting experience)
Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related field
Required: 5 years of accounting experience
Preferred: Experience supervising others in an office setting. Working knowledge of electric utility accounting practices and RUS accounting.
