Under minimal supervision perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, winery and/or bottling equipment, vehicles, fixtures, and systems.Â This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe.

Safely follow operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal and co-workerâs safety and company assets.
Under limited supervision performs basic service, troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation of equipment.Â
Must be proficient with:
Basic welding, machining, fabrication, liquid and gas plumbing.
Understanding basic schematics for mechanical, piping and construction projects.
Interpret maintenance manuals and procedures
Planning out repair/rebuild jobs by assembling all necessary parts and supplies
Understanding the basics of operating production floor equipment.
Mechanical repair of pumps, filters, valves, tanks and juice/wine processing equipment
Mechanical troubleshoot/repair of refrigeration systems.
Mechanical troubleshoot/repair of automated control systems.
Responsible for compliance with OSHA and Constellationâs safety and environmental policies.
Train Mechanic I workers to advance their skills.Â
Responsible for compliance with sustainability policies and practices, which are economically viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sound.Â This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results.
Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team memberâs safety.

Valid CA Driverâs License
Must possess a High School diploma/ GED
2-5 years of experience
Equivalent combination if education and experience is acceptable

Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting
